The organisation

Each squad is a team-lead agent that loads specialised skills depending on the situation. Squads write in the team messaging tool, share a handoff protocol and a common memory. The coordinator reads their reports, spots contradictions and delivers a single briefing.

A typical week

  1. 01Monday to Friday, early morning, the Sales squad handles inbound requests and prepares meetings.
  2. 02Monday and Thursday, Marketing, Tech and Product file their reports, then the coordinator publishes the briefing.
  3. 03On Monday, the Finance squad updates the cash position and audits costs.
  4. 04On Friday, each squad reviews its week and proposes amendments. The founder arbitrates.

What worked

  • Handoffs between squads: an objection heard in a meeting shows up in product feedback, with context.
  • One briefing instead of six reports. The coordinator spots contradictions before we do.
  • The weekly retro: squads propose precise improvements to their own skills, and they are often right.

What got stuck

  • Squad instructions still announced a weekly cadence while the scheduler applied another. Both had to be realigned, and the scheduler was made the source of truth.
  • An infrastructure monitoring skill had to be suspended when the infrastructure it watched was shut down. An agent watching nothing produces noise.
  • The newsletter was suspended until there were enough articles to feed it. A squad does not make up for missing content.
